electricity regulation

All our installation service are align with the Nigerian Electricity Supply and Installation standard (NESIS) Regulations (S. I. 6) of 1996 issued under the repealed Electricity Act. The Commission derived its power to repeal these Regulations from Section 98 of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act 2005.

These Regulations include areas on design, construction, and commissioning of the
power system in Nigeria through the value chain of electricity generation, transmission,
distribution and utilization Distribution Code, and Nigerian Electricity Health& Safety Code as amended. Fundamentally, it covers standards of materials, equipment and process with normative references to the EPSR Act, NERC technical Codes, IEC standards, and more as enumerated in the
Normative Reference.
